I agree. Things can get hard and abstract, but you are a good leader BECAUSE you don't make decisions lightly. Thanks for sharing all this with us. And for having our backs.
There is so much wrong about this column. Is is obvious that you do not understand the concept of a "secret ballot." Just because someone voted in a Republican primary, doesn't mean that they voted for the winner in the general election. Have you even had the decency to ask Seby why he voted in the Republican primary or why he attended the Tea Party meeting? You have the name "democracy" in your name but your actions prove otherwise. I also do not understand why you do not listen to your people on the ground. They usually know more than a statewide board. This is proven by the fact that you thought Eric would win. No one in the 41st district believed that he would. The question that people in the district was whether Seby or Julio would come in first. That alone shows how out of touch that you are with the people on the ground.
I used to work on just issues for this very reason, that people involved with candidates are often in it for themselves rather than accomplishing a goal that benefits the people who need help the most. It is sad that literally these people are hurting themselves by their reactions. Keep on keeping on.
Julioβs whole campaign feels weird. Heβs been inconsistent about his past and focused more on going after Seby and Eric than actually talking about solutions. The situation with his friend Denise didnβt help either. She jumped into the drama and got called out, and now Julioβs trying to act like heβs above it all.

Your group is needed and important to Texas.

Why are you not being honest right now and admitting to everyone you work for Seby?

Just BTW, I am not living in nor working for anyone in RGV.
