We know we lost in a big way in Texas on Tuesday, so we are moving towards a “National Game.” That way, we can fight back and give our families a voice because we are not giving up on our families and Democracy.
On Wednesday morning, I attended a National Strategy call, and the news was gutting. But one of the speakers gave some great advice to those of us living in the Red States. She said to go lobby those in Congress in DC from the Blue States. We decided a few weeks back we would produce our first National - Moms Report Card on the U.S. House of Representatives and US Senate. We would set up our first National Advocacy Day.
We also decided if Texas turned Red, we wouldn’t have a Texas Advocacy Day and instead team up with other grassroots organizations in support of their Advocacy Days. We are planning a D.C. Advocacy Day for Mothers and Others to meet with Democrat elected officials from Texas and blue states.
Our focus will be on minimizing the impact of Trump and Project 2025 on Texas families and finding advocates for those of us Democrats living in the Red States.
We are inviting other Mothers and Others from other Red States to join us in speaking up for:
Health Insurance and protecting ACA
Special Needs Children
Mental Health Coverage
Public Education
Climate Action’s impact on the future of our children
Medicaid Expansion
Protecting DACA and finding pathways to citizenship
Raising minimum wage at a national level
LGBTQ
Women’s Healthcare
Gun Safety
I know this is a big idea, but it is worth the try!
Yours in Democracy,

So we have any lawyers in the group who would be willing to file suits and jam up 47s efforts. I am not a lawyer...but I'd be willing to do the support stuff.
